Logical Reasoning

Time: 35 Minutes
Questions: 2 Sections of 25-26 Questions (Depending On The Exam) for A Total Number That Will Always Fall Between 50 and 51.

Although there are ten different question types in this section, we have found that the same four skills greatly improve one’s performance across every question type:

  1. Ability to distinguish between conclusions, supplementary conclusions, premises and evidence
  2. Ability to utilize formal logic and informal logic to simplify arguments.
  3. Ability to distinguish what can be inferred from what cannot be established beyond a reasonable doubt
  4. Ability to read closely, and critically (the LSAT will constantly make slight word substitutions that are the difference between the correct and incorrect answers.)

Depending on the student’s starting level, they and their tutor will begin either by attacking individual question types and then working into full sections, or by jumping right into complete sections.
